DRAIN & SEWER CLEANING ON A LARGE SCALE
Kerrick was recently approached by a council agency with a request for two sewer cleaning units, these high pressure jetting units needed be mounted on purpose built trucks and align with a number council’s requirement. Specific requirements from this client included extra large tanks, remote control operation and a mini hose reel with hose and nozzle for clearing blockages in small domestic drains.
These sewer cleaning units operate at 4000 psi with a flow rate of 68 l/min. The diesel engine is a 3 Cylinder Hatz Silent Pack driving a US Jetting 4018 Run Dry Pump equipped with a Jump Jet Pulsation System for extra pull up sewer lines. These units also come with a three button wireless remote control with a water on/off and emergency stop.
The total tank capacity for each sewer cleaning unit is 1520 litres. Equipped with larger tanks than are usually found on units this size council staff are able to stay on the job for longer without having to refill tanks thus maximising time efficiency.
In addition the sewer cleaning units come equipped with hydraulic hose reels, 150m of thermoplastic sewer hose, Warthog rotary and several standard nozzles.
Once commissioned a specialist team from Kerrick went onsite to provide key council staff with the required training and safety instruction.
